Liver Cookie Recipe for Very Good Dogs

Raw Beef Liver (approximately 1# with liquid that accompanies it, if any)

2 Eggs

1 teaspoon Garlic

3 Cups Minute Oats

Place first 3 ingredients in a blender or food processor and mix well.  Pour into a large bowl and add the oats a cup at a time, stirring carefully after each cup.  Spread mixture on a large (10 x 15") greased cookie sheet so that it is about 1/4 to 1/2 inch thick.

 

Bake at 250F for 45 minutes - remove from the oven, cut and loosen with a rigid spatula.  Turn it over and bake another 15 minutes.  Remove, cool and break into chunks.  This can be frozen.

I use these cookies as training treats; they remain pliable for a long time and the dogs really love them!
